Tantra, as we perceive it here in the West, is most often referred to as “Neo Tantra”. Neo Tantra is a modern take on the original Tantric teachings, which focus on transformation and spiritual growth through working with the body and sexual energy. It differs from traditional Tantra in that it is more accessible, more focused on individual experience and attracts us with its sexual overtones.
